Soft silicone earplugs are adaptable for either children or adults, since they can be molded and shaped to fit any ear. You should mold the material into a round shape (never long) and place it on the external ear duct till you feel it is obstructed, feeling a noticeable sound miffling. Do not try to introduce the earplug into the inner ear since removal will be difficult. If earplugs are to be used underwater, bear in mind that maximum depth should not exceded 4 meters, since further down water pressure might push the earplug into the inner ear, causing damages. Earplugs are not be used by children without adult supervision.
